Jimmy is an educated gangster: a member of one of Hong Kong’s oldest triads, Wo Sing, and in line to become its next Chairman. Moreover the Chinese authorities, recognizing his popularity, also see him as the ideal leader with which they will finally be able to negotiate a peaceful co-existence. However, Jimmy wants to leave the Triad, go clean and build his own legitimate business empire. The irony that to do this he must first step up and take control is not lost on him, and as he embarks on a violent campaign trail an altogether greater power looms to threaten the future of both Wo Sing and Jimmy himself…
